Assura Group has celebrated the completion of its latest Merseyside scheme, a £3m medical centre in Bebington.
The new surgery was delivered in partnership with LSP Developments.
The 14,350 sq ft building houses two GP practices - Kings Lane Medical Practice and Church Road Medical Practice. The state-of-the-art building also include a minor surgery suite and rooms for nurse and counselling consultations. In addition, a branch of Averroes Pharmacy is operating from the site.
Bebington is the latest in a series of completions for Assura Group, including premises in Maidstone and Huthwaite. Projects are also underway in Harlech, Y Felinheli and Leicester.
Amanda Roddy, development manager at Assura Group, said: “Moving two GP surgeries into one building makes vital medical services more accessible for patients in the local community. Our focus is on creating top-of-the-range facilities for GPs that are fit for the purpose of delivering primary care in the 21st Century. The Bebington medical centre certainly fulfills that goal.”
The building was designed by West Hart Partnership and constructed by W H Snow.
