Asteral exhibits its ‘knowledge of the business’

Company follows its Equipment-as-a-Service solution with the launch of Asteral Protect+ seven-day maintenance service

Asteral is once again exhibiting at this year’s Healthcare Finance Management Association (HFMA) Annual Conference to be held at the Hilton on 6 December.

Organised by the representative body for finance staff in healthcare, this year’s event will follow its president’s theme of ‘knowing the business’ and will take the form of a three-day conference and exhibition.

Asteral – for the second year running – will also be sponsoring the HFMA Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony.

In addition to showcasing its Equipment-as-a-Service benefits, Asteral will be launching Asteral Protect +, a multi-vendor maintenance service for diagnostic imaging equipment.

Asteral understands the importance of critical medical equipment being available when needed, seven days a week and has created Asteral Protect + to deliver optimum value, quality and convenience for whole hospital or individual assets.

Tailor making the service to their specific requirements means trusts will only ever pay for the cover they require and the Asteral Protect + price promise ensures they never pay more than equivalent OEM costs on non-contract spend.

Furthermore, Asteral Protect + offers hospitals maintenance services seven days a week with on-site engineer options for near-immediate response times.

Christopher Langley, Asteral’s chief executive, said: “Hospitals are under continual pressure to make cost-effective savings on their budgets and look to new ways to make those savings. Asteral understands their restraints and is continually developing its products in line with the evolving needs of the NHS. HFMA supports these ever-increasing challenges and Asteral is always delighted to be part of the event to help the healthcare service unlock the potential of its limited budgets.”

Asteral will be demonstrating the benefits of it’s Equipment-as-a-Service offering as well as the launch of it’s new Asteral Protect + product on stand B10 at the event.
