Diners will enjoy a three-course feast as winners of the 2020 and 2021 Building Better Healthcare Awards are announced
The menu for this year’s Building Better Healthcare Awards dinner has been unveiled.
To be held at The Brewery in central London on Wednesday, 3 November, the ceremony will see all awards from the 2020 and 2021 competitions being presented to the winners.
And those attending the event will be served a three-course meal, offering both meat/fish and vegetarian options.
To begin the meal there will be a bread basket with a choice of sea salt whipped butter or burnt butter.
The starter for meat eaters is salmon mi cuit with a tartar dressing
Starters will be salmon mi cuit with a tartar dressing, scraps, yolk, pickled cucumber and radishes; while the vegetarian option is celeriac with truffled celeriac custard, salt baked beetroots, apple, and hazelnuts.

For mains, there is dukkah-crusted sticky-glazed belly of pork, served with creamy mashed potato, roasted apple and miso puree, blistered green beans, and pickled shiitake mushrooms for the meat eaters; and BBQ sticky rice with gochujang puree, marinated tofu, crispy sambal cauliflower, pickled mung beans, and pak choi for vegetarians.
For mains there will be a meat option of dukkah-crusted sticky-glazed pork belly, while vegetarians will enjoy BBQ sticky rice with gochujang puree
Dessert for all diners will be almond panna cotta with a chocolate feuilletine, cherry gel, meringue nibs, and dark cherry sorbet.
The dinner will be accompanied by a choice of white and red wines – either a French 2020 Picpoul de Pinet, Baron de Badassière, Languedoc; or a 2019 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Il Fagio, from Italy.
