Blessing for new hospital chapel and garden

Bishop leads service at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital

The new chapel and garden at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust were officially blessed last week.

The dedication was carried out by the Right Reverent Mark Rylands, Anglican Bishop of Shrewsbury, following completion of building work on the facilities.

The Reverend Adrian Bailey, Anglican chaplain at the hospital, said: ‘Many people have told me how much they appreciate this new chapel and garden. Hospitals are very busy places and I hope this will be a place where people of all faiths and none can find some peace and solace for many years to come.”
