Britplas will be showcasing their latest product innovations at Healthcare Estates in Manchester this October.
The company, well known for their Safevent anti-ligature window, will be showing off their latest window, the Rapidvent, which allows for natural ventilation and improved air quality and reduces the need for mechanical plant for ventilation and cooling.
Their new Safesee Door, designed to address key concerns in mental health settings will also be on show. The whole of the door has been designed as a programmable scale that allows for notification of a ligature taking place on any part of the door. It also includes a unique observation panel and has an invisable, instant release anti-barricade jamb. The door has recently won the Product Design for Healthcare Application Award at the Design & Health World Congress & Exhibition in Australia.
Britplas will also have their market-leading Safevent windows at the exhibition as well as their Safevent Fencing which provides total security and safety whilst being anti-climb. The fencing allows for the overprinting of large detailed artworks. These artworks can create attractive vistas which are aesthetically appealing and calming, whilst also minimising the fencing's physical presence, adhering to salutogenic principles.
