AN EXHIBITION has opened at Central Middlesex Hospital to raise money for child trafficking survivors in Nepal. The North West London Hospitals NHS Trust has launched an exhibition of mosaics created by artists from all over the world in the discharge lounge at the hospital. Organised by artist, Karla Duterloo, the show will raise funds for The Esther Benjamins Trust, which supports survivors of child trafficking, victimised women and deaf young people in Nepal. Carole Flowers, director of nursing at the hospital trust, said: "Art in the healing environment is now recognised as a major factor influencing patient wellbeing and improving the experience for patients, service users and staff alike. I am delighted that works of such beauty can raise funds for the exceptional work that this charity does and it is an honour for us to host this exhibition."
