GPT wins two-year clinical waste management contract for St John & St Elizabeth Hospital


GPT Waste Management has won a two-year clinical total waste management contract with St John & St Elizabeth Hospital in London.

There will also be the opportunity to implement a total non-clinical waste service by April – meaning GPT will be the main waste contractor at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, which is one of the country’s largest independent charity hospitals and the UK’s premier Catholic hospital.

This two-year contract will civer waste streams including all healthcare waste and eventually the GMW and recyclable waste.

Mike Callaghan of GPT said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the contract with St John & St Elizabeth Hospital and look forward to working closely with their inhouse facilities management team to deliver improved waste management solutions and significant cost savings over the two-year period.”
