Courtney-Thorne, has launched a ‘Gold Partner Scheme’ to ensure all installations of its nurse call systems are carried out to the highest quality standards by trained and accredited partners.
The move builds on the company’s accreditation process by putting into place a comprehensive programme of training modules, accreditation, and support for third-party providers installing a Courtney-Thorne nurse call system in a care home or hospital environment.
It will be mandatory for all Gold Partners to include at least one Courtney-Thorne trained engineer on every installation team and the completed installation must be signed off by an engineer who has completed both the Intermediate and Advanced modules of the company’s detailed training programme.
All training will be carried out at Courtney-Thorne’s custom-built training suite at the company’s new headquarters in Bournemouth and Gold Partners will be required to send their engineers on a refresher training course every three years to maintain their Gold Partner status.
Following initial training, each Gold Partner engineer will carry out their first installation under Courtney-Thorne supervision to ensure that they have fully absorbed the training and can apply best practice on site. They will then receive ongoing technical support, troubleshooting and training input, including digital copies of all training content.
National sales manager, John Polhill, said: “The Gold Partner Scheme is part of an investment in ensuring our advanced wireless nurse call systems are consistently installed to best-practice standards by trusted partners that have been fully trained and can tap in to our expert technical support.
“We have invested significantly in custom-specified training facilities and new product development and this scheme will ensure that our customers experience the full value of that commitment to quality with every installation.”
Each Gold Partner will be entitled to display the Courtney-Thorne Gold Partner logo on their marketing collateral and will receive sales and marketing support from Courtney-Thorne. They will also receive a preferential rate on all Courtney-Thorne nurse call systems and accessories.
Polhill added: “Our aim is to ensure that all Courtney-Thorne systems are installed either by our own engineers or by a trusted Gold Partner that has been fully trained and accredited by us. What that means for our customers is complete peace of mind that their nurse call system has been designed and installed to the very highest quality standards.”
