Magnetics specialist, Dr Ewan Goodier, has become the latest addition to Eclipse Magnetics’ BoilerMag team, joining as product and development manager.
With more than 15 years’ experience of cutting-edge magnetic technology, Dr Goodier combines technical understanding with commercial insight. He will be working on commercial and development projects in optimising performance of products for the heating system filtration market.
Eclipse Magnetic’s is the only company in the heating system filter market to manufacture its own magnets. The company has 100 years’ experience in magnetic technology.
This knowledge means that Eclipse is unique in having the scope and resources to develop a range of filters suitable for all applications, including domestic, commercial and industrial installations.

Dr Goodier has worked in the field of magnetics since undertaking a PhD in Higher Efficiency Electrical Machines through the application of novel magnetic technologies. Since completing his PHD he has undertaken a variety of roles in industry to apply his knowledge to applications design.
