Elliott appoints new managing director

Lee Jon Newman takes on role for UK

Elliott has appointed Lee Jon Newman as UK managing director.

He will take over from Bertrand Quenot, who was recently promoted to president of Europe within the company.

As UK managing director, Newman will be actively involved in the continuing determination and delivery of the Elliott business strategy devised to significantly grow the organisation. He will champion a client-centric culture, ensuring the entire organisation is customer focused and delivering an industry-leading service in terms of customer interaction, communication, speed of delivery and quality. In particular, Newman will be creating a clear strategy for Elliott to enter new UK markets, as well as strengthening existing ones, and also improving its customer satisfaction levels to maintain its market leading position. Newman will lead the continued investment into the Elliott fleet and innovation to enable growth plans, while investing in training to ensure the delivery of a quality service to our clients at all levels.

Newman said: “It is an exciting time for me to join Elliott and I am delighted to have taken this position. The team is so enthusiastic - it is great to share their passion within this exciting industry.

“We already have a very strong market position for providing portable accommodation in our target markets and I will be building on the foundations laid down by Bertrand Quenot in developing a series of projects aimed at growing our business even further.

“With our 360° Service offerings, we have already taken giant steps in moving Elliott from being the UK’s-leading supplier of modular space to one that provides a whole host of accessories and packages that enable our customers to source from a single turnkey solution supplier.”

Newman joins Elliott from Wolseley Group, where he held the position of managing director of the commercial and industrial division, which is the UK-largest distributor of specialist largest-scale heating and cooling products.
