Healthcare IT firm wins industry award for informatics platform

InterSystems praised by market analysts Frost & Sullivan for excellence in product innovation and integration


A leading healthcare IT supplier has been singled out for praise, receiving an industry award for product innovation.

InterSystems has won the title of Frost & Sullivan 2012 European Company of the Year in Integrated Connected Health Technologies .

A market analyst and growth partnership company, Frost & Sullivan cited InterSystems for both its product innovation and its ability to deliver value for money. In particular analysts praised the strategic informatics platform, which it described as ‘a one-stop solution that enables users to capture, share and understand and act on all their data, both structured and unstructured’.

To win the award, InterSystems was benchmarked against its competitors in five key areas: The degree of innovation of products and technologies, leadership in customer value, growth strategy excellence, growth implementation excellence, and leadership in market penetration,

InterSystems HealthShare is a strategic informatics platform for hospitals, integrated delivery networks, and regional and national health information exchanges.

It is built on the InterSystems Caché database and the company’s Ensemble integration platform. InterSystems DeepSee provides embedded real-time business intelligence capabilities, and InterSystems iKnow gives the ability to discover concepts and relationships within unstructured data.

The judges highlighted InterSystems’ successful nationwide projects in countries including Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Scotland. They also highlighted its growing reputation as a creative technology partner focused on advancing its implementation technology and post-implementation support to ensure customers achieve and exceed the expected value.
