Discrete Heat unveils EasyClean LST

Launched this month for the healthcare market is the new EasyClean LST heating system from Discrete Heat.

Developed in co-operation with the NHS and mental health providers, the EasyClean LST replaces radiators and skirting trim in one convenient package.

Featuring all the usual benefits of the ThermaSkirt radiant skirting heating, the EasyClean LST has special design features including a bottom mounting rail that integrates smoothly into the vinyl flooring plus a high-security top cover trim that seals the top edge to the wall covering. This means that the radiant heating system can be simply mopped clean of infectious spores such as C.difficile and MRSA at the same time as the floor is cleaned. There is no need for deep cleans, covers to lift and remove, special tools and equipment, and no heavy radiators to drop down so no obstructions to corridors and gangways.

Like others in the ThermaSkirt range, EasyClean LST is easily fitted as part of a new build or a refurbishment without the disruption associated with installing underfloor heating. It is also typically 13% more energy efficient than either radiators or underfloor heating.

EasyClean LST has already been specified on several NHS hospital projects and is now also being chosen for some high-profile mental health secure units due to its natural anti-ligature design and all-around comfortable heat.

Available in a choice of either single height for bedrooms and living areas and double height for larger wards and hard-to-heat spaces, the system can be selected in white or ivory with custom colours to special order.
