Helping you create Dementia Friendly environments

An exciting collection of ground-breaking products is helping improve the lives of dementia patients in hospitals across the country.

New Vision designs and installs a range of innovative displays which help trigger memories for elderly patients and improve the hospital environment.

“Picture This” is an interchangeable slide frame system which allows images to be displayed on corridors, in side wards and in public places. Designed to enhance recognition and awareness, pictures of local landmarks, nature, industry and culture can be used to invoke memories from the past.

“Kodak-style slide frames”, backlit with LED lighting, feature interchangeable images and work particularly well with bygone scenes and nostalgic visions of childhood.

“Memory Boxes” can be installed by the side of patients’ beds, where they place a personal object they can recognise and remember. This aids reminiscence and recall, and is also designed to help patients find their way back to their beds.

The latest product is a 1950’s style digital TV which plays videos and slide shows tailored for dementia patients.
