ISG Jackson has secured a second phase of work at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital following the recent completion of a fast-track refurbishment and upgrade project at the Kent facility. The contractor has been appointed to the final multi-million pound phase, which will mark the conclusion of a major programme of investment to enhance the patient experience at the hospital. The latest contract sees the comprehensive refurbishment of patient accommodation within the building, comprising 41 individual rooms, as well as consulting and treatment rooms and administrative office areas. The modernisation programme also sees ISG Jackson reconfiguring and rationalising internal space to create a contemporary environment for visitors, with a new reception area and improved accessible entrance with an external canopy. The hospital's facade will also be transformed with render and modern cladding panels added to the exterior elevations, as well as new windows and curtain walling elements.
