Medical Air Technology Facilities Management (MAT FM) has an ongoing service contract with Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, maintaining and revalidating the ultraclean air ventilation systems at Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital. The contract has been a great success, with hospital staff recognizing that MAT FM always makes every effort to arrange service visits to fit around operating schedules to minimise theatre downtime and ensure the hospital can maintain patient services with as little disruption as possible.

This is typical of the feedback MAT FM receives for its work, carried out both nationally and internationally. In order to meet the increasing demand for the dedicated specialist service the company prides itself on offering, the team of service engineers has recently expanded, with each specialist technician equipped with a full stocked vehicle so they can respond to service calls as quickly as possible.

MAT FM offers a comprehensive range of air testing, cleanroom validation and commissioning services that ensure clients’ facilities always function at the optimum level. One popular option is the annual service agreement, providing twice yearly revalidation, compliance testing and certification of all laminar flow systems and containment cabinets, regardless of manufacturer, and followed up with a full service report.
