MSoft eSolutions appoints two new members to team

Abraham Kurian and Lesley Sutton join as account manager and clinical advisor as company wins NHS contracts across UK

MSoft eSolutions has appointed Abraham Kurian as account manager to help drive and manage further growth in the blood-tracking side of the business.

Kurian will have responsibility for the South of England as well as recruiting distributors and re-sellers around the world as MSoft continues to break into overseas markets.

The company has also appointed Lesley Sutton as clinical advisor to provide it with up-to-date guidance on blood regulations in the UK and around the world.

The double appointment follows the news that the Wirral-headquartered company has clinched two new contract wins for its Bloodhound software with Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust.

The latest contracts mean MSoft has secured all 10 of the last ten blood-tracking tenders for which it has competed.

The appointment of Kurian and Sutton takes the MSoft headcount to 29 and the company expects to recruit further personnel at all levels this year.

Kurian joined from Aperio, a leading provider of ePathology solutions in hospitals, and was previously also an account manager with healthcare IT company, CliniSys. Sutton was previously blood bank manager at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.

Bromborough-based MSoft provides health trusts with its innovative blood-tracking software, Bloodhound, enabling positive identification of users and patients and indepth auditing of all bloods across each and every stage of the transfusion process – to help get the right blood into the right patient.

Matt McAlister, MSoft eSolutions’ managing director, said: “These latest recruits mean we now have a formidable team of talents able to drive further growth in the business while, at the same time, ensuring the highest quality of service to existing clients.

“We have the infrastructure to be able to hit the ground running with all new projects ensuring a flexible approach and speedy implementation as well as up-to-date guidance on blood regulations at home and abroad.

“We have invested heavily in our implementation team during recent months on the back of a phenomenal 18 months which has seen us win 10 consecutive tenders for Bloodhound.”
