NHS Estates and healthcare facilities management: efficiency, strategic partnerships and priorities for improving GP premises

This seminar will explore the next steps for developing NHS estates to support new models of care, and identify best practice in healthcare facilities management.

Key discussion points will include commissioning new premises and the role of NHS England, clinical commissioning groups and local authorities; priorities for meeting primary care needs for onsite training and providing additional services; improving efficiency in NHS estates and facilities; disseminating best practice in hospital asset management; and ensuring safety and security in mental health facilities. It will also provide an overview of collaboration and opportunities for partnerships with the private sector.
