Ambia and Ponta help make workflows in the operating room, neonatology, and intensive care unit more efficient

More connection options for medical devices and accessories at all four corners of the media column, more capacity for electrical and gas outlets that can be freely positioned: the new Ambia and Ponta ceiling supply units allow individual configuration of workplaces in intensive care units, or in the operating room for even more efficient care. With their coordinated colour concepts and decor variants, Ambia and Ponta can be easily integrated into any room concept, supporting a health-promoting environment. Colour and wood decors are available for the drawers to create an overall homelike ambience. So too are the lighting options featuring warm, glare-free light, using the RGB1 colour model. The new ceiling supply units thus contribute to a calming therapeutic atmosphere.

Ergonomic and easy to clean

In order to be able to position the new ceiling supply units more intuitively, the handles have touch-sensitive sensors that automatically release the brakes. The handle positions can also be adapted to suit individual work processes, and the handles themselves can be retrofitted. In addition, rounded profiles and smooth disinfection-resistant materials help make the Ponta and Ambia easy and quick to clean and disinfect. The sophisticated cable management in the shafts reduces the accumulation of dirt. A touchless working environment, including ceiling and floor lights also contribute toward preventing infection.
