Next steps for developing NHS estates

Delegates at this conference will discuss priorities for developing NHS estates, including for a national estates strategy proposed by NHS England and the Department of Health in the NHS Business Plan 2016/17.

It will also be an opportunity to assess progress on upgrading primary care infrastructure as outlined in the General Practice Forward View, including plans to invest £900m in practices and enable NHS England to fund up to 100% of the costs for premises developments.

Further sessions will focus on the impact of Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STPs) on NHS estates, the influence of the Carter Review on estate management and procurement, as well as opportunities for devolving responsibility of estates and asset use.
