Pineapple Contracts continues to launch new designs, bringing increased comfort, safety, and durability

Pineapple Contracts has launched four new products to its contract furniture range.

Designed to specifically address issues facing users throughout the education, healthcare, and mental health industry; the new products are strategic additions to the successful range from Pineapple.

Growing its existing range of reclining chairs, Pineapple has launched Esto and Vida.

The new recliners are ideal for oncology, maternity and neonatal wards, as well as facilities for the elderly and less-mobile users.

Adding to the core range of sofas, Rubus and Rondo offer stylish solutions for communal seating areas such as receptions, lounges and school common rooms.

Esto, an easy-to-move lightweight recliner featuring an antibacterial lacquer finish, is the ideal chair for areas where space is a premium.

Non-marking castors and brakes are available, with fabrics that are not only flame retardant, but also MRSA resistant.

The Esto chair has excellent posture support and a beautiful wave design to the sides and arms which helps to soften an environment.

The Vida recliner features a full lie-flat position for relaxation and rest, as well as optional riser-assist movement to aid standing for those less mobile and to reduce staff injuries from lifting users.

The wing-back design gives optimum comfort and support.

Available in fabrics that are flame retardant and MRSA resistant, as well as antibacterial lacquer finishes on timber arms; this chair features both single and dual action operation, allowing the seat footrest and back to be operated independently.

The Rubus sofa continues Pineapple’s successful range of soft furnishing for challenging environments.

The modern styling allows for optional reinforcement throughout the entire construction, giving a strong solution in areas where users may climb across furniture or have repetitive forceful behaviours.

Available as a chair, or two- or three-seater sofas; the look is completed with chrome feet that won’t rust, and a fixed-back design which can withstand greater disruptive behaviour.

The Rondo, also available as a chair and 2.5-seater sofa, is raised from the floor with an eye-catching chrome ski leg. The additional height clearance brings more light in to the environment, giving an airy feel that aids access for cleaning and hoists.

The curved contours, repeated throughout the design of this piece, complement a gentler environment and the low back improves staff’s ability to observe a room of users.
