Premier Interlink contract completed at Bristol super hospital
Premier Interlink has completed an £8m contract covering advanced works for the new super hospital in north Bristol. The 24-week project was completed on time and to budget, creating six buildings with a total floorspace of more than 5,000sq m. They were built using 127 steel-framed modules of Premier's PremierPlus building system, some of which incorporated a new factory-installed concrete floor option. This maximises acoustic dampening in high traffic areas such as plant rooms, MRI and X-ray facilities, and operating theatres. Other facilities include CT, clinical engineering offices, a kitchen and cafeteria and a new pharmacy with a fully-computerised robotic sorting and picking system.
