Wireless headset manufacturer Quail Digital will be presenting the latest addition to its Healthcare Headset System at the 2015 AAGL Global Congress taking place this week in Las Vegas.
While at the show, Quail will demonstrate the Q-HCBS base station, which expands the number of headset users on the system to 30 and, with its integral audio interface, links physicians in the operating room using hands-free wireless headsets with external broadcast facilities, lecture theatres and classrooms.
The Quail Digital Healthcare Headset System promotes greater accuracy during procedures, reduces stress in a pressured environment, and fosters collaboration within the team. The system also facilitates audio recording to enable physicians to record individual case notes in real-time.

The Healthcare Headset System comprises a wall-mounted base station, up to 30 headsets and a six-port headset charger/storage rack. Lightweight for comfort during long procedures, the system operates on high-quality digital DECT frequencies and the headset provides seven hours talk time from a fully-charged battery.
Quail Digital supplies headsets to around 150 US hospitals including electrophysiology and cath lab facilities, robotics and conventional theatres, children’s, regional and veteran hospitals.
