TORMAX entry and exit systems installed at West Midlands GP surgery

As you would expect, a busy doctor’s surgery has a wide range of needs when it comes to patient access.

And providing a clear and easy entry and exit system for a new extension was a priority for the Haden Vale Medical Practice in the West Midlands.

TORMAX was contracted by the contractor, Cameron Butcher Group, to install two automatic sliding door systems at the main entrance.

Powered by a TORMAX 2201 compact operator; the doors deliver reliable and seamless access for visitors, including the elderly, wheelchair users, and people with pushchairs.

Providing three additional, much-needed consultation rooms, as well as a utility area; the new single-storey extension dramatically improves the services that can be offered; and the contractor worked closely with TORMAX to deliver a comprehensive access solution that meets the varied requirements of patients.

The TORMAX 2201 door drives offer a user-friendly and cost-effective solution to door automation that can be adapted to almost any location.

It is particularly quick and easy to install while straightforward, two-key programming allows practice staff to adapt opening and closing speeds to reflect the volume of foot traffic and weather conditions.

Measuring just 142mmx100mm, the TORMAX 2201 operator is also neat and compact, making it an unobtrusive solution for both contemporary and traditional settings.
