Stone appointed to IT framework

Published: 8-Apr-2011

Computer hardware manufacturer, Stone, has been appointed as a listed supplier on the IT Recycling Framework Agreement from the NHS Shared Business Services Commercial Procurement Solutions. Stone is one of only four suppliers appointed within Lot 1 - the section of the framework agreement pertaining to IT hardware - and will retain this position for the next two years, from which point the contract can be renewed on an annual basis. James Bird, chief executive of Stone, said: "We have been awarded inclusion in this framework agreement based on our proven track record across the UK public sector, including education and the emergency services as well as healthcare. In addition, key service offerings, such as the removal of redundant IT assets free of charge and our secure recycling facility mean the company is exceptionally well positioned to fulfill the requirements of this agreement."
