Improvement works at Thame Community Hospital's inpatient area have been completed ahead of schedule. The refurbishment project started in January as part of efforts to ensure the environment of the hospital meets modern infection control requirements. The works included refurbishing the inpatient area with new sinks, ceilings and lighting. Rachael Corser, lead nurse for the hospital, said: "We're really pleased with the improvements and that we've been able to re-open the inpatient area ahead of schedule. The hospital now has a more welcoming feel and we can continue to deliver care to our patients while preventing infection in the newly-improved inpatient ward."
