Work is underway on £4m medical centre and pharmacy in Nottingham.
When complete The Arnold Health Centre will provide improved access to healthcare services via a new state-of-the-art primary care medical centre and an integrated pharmacy in the heart of Arnold.
The new two-storey building is being developed by MedicX and is expected to be completed in September 2013. Its design incorporates photovoltaic panels and the overall building will be constructed to BREEAM ‘very good’ standard, with an ‘excellent’ rating for energy use.
Once complete, the facility will house the nearby Highcroft Surgery of Dr Gard & Partners and a number of community clinics as part of a venture between the surgery and Gedling Borough Council, NHS Nottinghamshire County and County Health Partnerships.
