The 2025 Building Better Healthcare Awards is introducing the Social Value Impact Award in collaboration with NHS England/ProCure23. This new award will honour projects that deliver meaningful impact beyond clinical care, demonstrating how healthcare developments can improve lives on a broader scale.
This special award has been created to celebrate healthcare built environment schemes that go beyond clinical outcomes to improve the broader lives of patients, staff, and local communities. Judges will be looking for tangible examples of inclusive design, sustainable construction, local employment opportunities, and community engagement that demonstrate how a project delivers lasting social value.
Helen Sturdy, National head of Constructions at NHS England and leads the £9bn ProCure23 (P23) framework, will join the judging process in September to identify stand-out projects that are truly making a difference.
