Vodafone’s announcement of the creation of a dedicated new healthcare division will help to drive technology adoption within the medical sector.

Vodafone in Health has been established by industry expert Anne-Marie Vine-Lott to become a trusted advisor to the health sector, working in partnership to develop new technology products.

In creating the new division, Vodafone will build on its existing expertise and work with the NHS and other healthcare providers, both private and public.

The aim is to create the building blocks for change and support the acceleration of digital transformation, freeing up workforce time and helping to drive increased efficiency and productivity.

Vine-Lott said: “I’m really excited to be leading the newly-created Vodafone in Health division, which will act as a technology advisor and innovation hub for all our healthcare partners and customers.

“Our focus is on supporting health providers to work beyond organisational boundaries – to help them drive better outcomes for patients through better connectivity and the modernisation of technology.”
