Longworth Building Services has won a roofing and cladding package from main contractor, Laing O’Rourke, for the general wards of the new £200m Dumfries and Galloway Hospital.
The deal is worth an estimated £2.1m and Longworth will start on site next month.
The firm will be using 7,500sq m of Kingspan IPN Quadcore, 51 tonnes of NedZink, 1,200sq m of IKO PermaTEC hot melt and 600m of membrane lined composite gutters.
The contract is scheduled to run for 32 weeks.
