Leading ergonomics company showcases products that support the changing healthcare IT landscape

Humanscale has launched a series of ergonomic healthcare IT solutions to the UK marketplace.

Featuring advanced designs and sophisticated functionality, Humanscale’s forward-looking family of healthcare products supports the future of technology and its effect on improving care and patient engagement.

Visitors to the company’s booth at the Health and Care Innovation Expo last week were able to get a hands-on experience with a number of products that were built with the caregiver in mind, including:

  • The V6 technology wall station combining leading ergonomic design with exceptional space-savings capacity, while supporting caregivers comfortably in seated or standing postures. It can be used with Humanscale’s unique design, Solo, which holds a monitor and a keyboard on one arm for effortless, one-step adjustability and to help build engagement with patients. It also offers excellent cable management to promote infection and clutter control
  • The T7 mobile technology cart seamlessly integrates technology into the caregiver workflow and encourages caregivers to work in ergonomic postures as they sit or stand, thereby contributing to better patient outcomes. It features AutoFit technology, which adjusts the cart to the caregiver’s entered height for complete ease of use, and provides simple maneuverability with Power Track steering, which is the implementation of a fifth wheel with the touch of a button
  • The V/Desk enables caregivers to write, input data and distribute medication from one solution. Features a resilient nylon work surface with a keyboard tray beneath that slides in and out. It can be used with the V7 or V6 technology wall stations
  • The HealthPoint technology cabinet serves as an unobtrusive touch point for caregivers in corridors. It reduces infection-control concerns with flat, crevice-free surface and resists scratches and glare with acrylic screen
