British specialists in air pressure control, Apreco, have recently renewed their 15-year partnership with antimicrobial additive developers SteriTouch.
Since 2005 Apreco has solidified themselves as the first supplier to offer antimicrobial air pressure stabilising units.
In light of the demand for increased infection control products and procedures, the brand has recently continued their long-standing relationship with Radical Materials antimicrobial additive brand SteriTouch in their latest project with The Grange University Hospital in South Wales.
With a long list of applications and clientele, Apreco identified a concerning issue in healthcare technology, particularly in the form of infection control.
This encouraged a formal partnership with antimicrobial specialists SteriTouch, in order to present bacteria-killing properties into their product line.
Applied to Apreco products in the form of a powder coat, the SteriTouch additive has successfully approved to kill 99.99% of tested bacteria including E.coli, MRSA, Salmonella and Listeria within 24 hours.
Upon renewing the venture Nick Loader, Sales Director, said “We are extremely proud to be able to continue our long-standing partnership with Steritouch, during these uncertain times it is more important than ever to ensure that we keep up with the latest infection prevention measures.
"Steritouch gives us and our customer piece of mind that we are all doing all we can to support the fight against Infection.”
