InSight Mammo PACS solution improves workflow for consultants and helps speed up diagnosis

Insignia Medical Systems has signed a new contract with Avon Breast Screening (ABS) for its InSight Mammo PACS solution.

ABS, one of the biggest breast departments in the country, first signed with Insignia in 2010, and has confirmed a further five-year managed service contract with Insignia.

The Avon Breast Screening programme invites more than 140,000 women from the area for breast screening, a service co-ordinated through Avon Breast Screening based at the Bristol Breast Care Centre at Southmead Hospital.

The deal covers the InSight Mammo PACS solution, one of the leading breast care PACS in the UK, with workflows specifically developed for screening, symptomatic and assessment.

Certified to NBSS Level 2, InSight Mammo improves workflow for consultants and helps speed up diagnosis.

Support for multiple modalities including FFDM, MRI, gamma imaging and ultrasound enables the entire imaging record to be included in the advanced hanging protocols.

Tomosynthesis imaging is supported within InSight Mammo delivering the latest technology for the radiologists and clinicians.
