CardMedic appoints Jim Gabriel as chief commercial officer

New position supports communication company’s ambitious growth plans

Award-winning healthcare communications company, CardMedic, has appointed Jim Gabriel as chief commercial officer.

Gabriel will be responsible for overseeing all UK and international growth as the company continues its mission to reduce health inequality globally.

He has spent more than two decades building, running, and consulting technology companies, most recently as an innovation advisor for TheHill, an innovation accelerator within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

And he has been the chairman of the CardMedic board since October 2020, but has now embarked on the new role to support the company as it continues to scale, in light of a flurry of recent contract wins in the UK and US.

Reflecting on his new appointment, he said: “Poor communication in healthcare is a universal problem, and I hope to help healthcare providers all over the world realise that CardMedic is a universal solution.
