Four new rooms help meet increase in patient numbers at Beverley Health Centre

Work has been completed on a project to create four new clinical rooms at Beverley Health Centre in East Yorkshire.

The refurbishment works will help to optimise space at the site and create room for Manor Road Surgery to expand its patient list to address future demand for services.

The work was carried out by Assura Group in partnership with NHS Property Services (NHSPS) and East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Assura Group worked with the CCG to provide the funding for the work, which also saw installation of a new climate control system to help improve the efficiency of the building.

Richard Dodson, chief finance officer at East Riding of Yorkshire CCG, said: “The population of Beverley and surrounding areas continues to grow and this refurbishment to create additional space will help to ensure GP services remain sustainable and continue to meet the health needs of local patients.”
