Winners of this year's competition are announced

Innovative healthcare organisations and suppliers of ground-breaking goods and services gathered in London last week for the annual HSJ Awards.

Held at the Intercontinental London at The O2, the ceremony followed a lengthy judging programme which examined more than 1,500 entries across 26 categories.

HSJ editor, Alastair McLellan, said: “In this historic year for the NHS, its 70th anniversary, we were inundated with applications demonstrating continued determination to deliver first-class healthcare, harnessing the latest innovations while ensuring value for money.

“Our judging panel was consistently impressed with evidence of all entrants enduring commitment to excellence in healthcare.

“I hope that each of the winners will be a source of inspiration for teams across the country as they seek to innovate and improve service provision.”
