IBI Group has appointed Maarit Heinonen-Smith as its UK retirement living and senior care lead.
Maarit joins IBI Group from the specialist housing team at PRP Architects, where she has built an impressive portfolio designing and delivering innovative housing and care solutions for people aged over 55, having worked as the lead architect on many of its flagship projects.
She said of her new role: “I am very excited to join IBI Group in this new position.
“I am passionate about designing and delivering inspiring residential architecture, which allows for flexibility, individuality and changing needs, as well as promoting the health and wellbeing of the residents.
