Company awarded position on the new Clinical & Digital Information Systems Framework Agreement

Kainos Evolve, part of the Kainos Group, has been awarded a place in three lots on the new Clinical & Digital Information Systems Framework Agreement (CDIS) launched by NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP).

The framework lots on which Kainos Evolve has been successful are Document Management Services, Professional Services, and Innovation.

The CDIS identifies experienced and capable organisations to provide services to NHS trusts and other health and social care providers in the UK and Northern Ireland.

This leads to better relationships between the NHS and suppliers, and that, in turn, delivers better value for money and improved performance.

With a customer base that includes NHS trusts from across the UK, Kainos Evolve attributes its inclusion in the CDIS framework to its ability and willingness to listen to customers, and to deliver solutions that are cost-efficient and easy to use.

“Kainos Evolve’s Integrated Care platform lets healthcare providers join up patient information across teams and organisations, resulting in safer and better care,’ said Nigel Hutchinson, head of Kainos Evolve.

“To be one of a select few organisations named on the CDIS framework is testament to the depth of the Evolve team’s specialised knowledge and experience in the NHS.”

LPP’s CDIS framework has a potential award value of up to £1.3billion. It has been developed at the request of the London NHS Chief Information Officers’ Council and the consortia of 38 NHS trusts which built the first Clinical Information Systems Framework in conjunction with LPP in 2013.
