Arcturis has partnered with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to curate regulatory-grade, anonymised patient datasets, supporting the development of precision medicines and improving patient outcomes

Arcturis, a UK-based health data company specialising in the curation and analysis of deep, multi-modal data to support precision medicine, has signed a long-term strategic partnership with University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH).

The partnership aims to expand the UK leader’s Real-World Data (RWD) Network and support the development of precision medicines.

Under the multi-year agreement, Arcturis and UCLH will collaborate to generate regulatory-grade, disease-specific datasets from anonymised patient data.

The initiative will enable the creation of advanced insights to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes, as well as support the development and adoption of new medicines.

UCLH, recognised internationally for clinical research and digital health innovation, treats more than one million patients each year across six hospital sites.

The Trust holds established expertise in oncology, neurology, cardiology and metabolic diseases, making it a valuable addition to the Arcturis network.

The Arcturis RWD Network is a Health Research Authority (HRA)-approved research database that partners with NHS trusts and research organisations to provide access to diverse, enriched real-world data representative of the UK population.

These curated data resources are designed to generate evidence to inform drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory health technology assessments, and post-approval studies.

The agreement follows a series of recent partnerships between Arcturis and other NHS trusts and research institutions, further extending the reach and capabilities of the RWD Network.

Alex Snow, CEO of Arcturis, said: "I am delighted to enter this long-term partnership with University College London Hospitals, one of the UK’s most prestigious NHS trusts who are at the forefront of delivering outstanding clinical care and medical research for the benefit of patients.

"The addition of UCLH to our Real-World Data Network builds on our recent momentum as we expand our ability to curate deep, highly enriched multi-modal health data that is representative of the UK population."

Tim Jaggard, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer at UCLH, said: "We are thrilled to partner with Arcturis at this time when the capabilities of technology, medicine, and data science are advancing at speed. Arcturis has a track record of working with NHS trusts and research organisations across the UK to help them develop regulatory-grade research datasets that, when combined, can deliver meaningful benefits for patients.

"This partnership will enable us to use UCLH’s extensive clinical expertise and patient data to contribute to the development of new medicines that can make a genuine impact on patients' lives."
