Artic Building Services has been appointed to provide facilities management services across Everyturn Mental Health Services’ buildings within the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) estate in London.
Everyturn is a non-profit organisation delivering mental health services on behalf of the NHS, including talking therapies, crisis support and specialist rehabilitation services.
Under the new partnership, Artic will oversee the facilities within buildings used by Everyturn to support people transitioning from SLaM care to living independently in the community.
The facilities management contractor will maintain the buildings and their assets, with a focus on supporting compliance and asset performance.
The arrangement is intended to enable Everyturn's teams to focus on delivering rehabilitation services for people with complex needs.
Artic said its existing relationship with SLaM, for which it is already a contractor, gives its team an understanding of the healthcare estate and the requirements of the environment in which Everyturn operates.
“As a whole, we’ve been working with the NHS for 25+ years, so we’re proud to be given the opportunity to extend our service to Everyturn. They’re going to be delivering such an important service to the community we are dedicated to,” said Neil Cooper, Contract Manager at Artic Building Services.
Artic provides hard facilities management services, including mechanical and electrical engineering and maintenance, across healthcare and other sectors.
The partnership adds Everyturn to Artic's existing portfolio of healthcare clients and extends its work supporting the NHS estate in London.
