Queen Elizabeth Hospital signs three-year IT maintenance contract

Secure I.T. Environments to ensure efficiency and resilience of trust's data centre

Secure I.T. Environments has been awarded a three-year data centre maintenance contract at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Trust.

The new contract will see Secure I.T. Environments provide a range of maintenance services to ensure the efficiency and resilience of the data centre across its expected lifespan. including the following assets:

  • External modular data centre
  • Air conditioning, plus consumables and external condensing units
  • Fire suppression system and VESDA system
  • UPS systems
  • Environmental monitoring systems

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is an established 488-bed general hospital, which together with 12 cots in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, provides healthcare services to west and north Norfolk in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire.
