The Building Better Healthcare Awards is now in its 21st year, and the celebrations continue to honour the incredible innovation shown in the healthcare built environment, medical device and technology sectors.
BBH has selected 25 categories that really reflect the activity and priorities in the current market place. These categories range from Building Design Class, Estates and Facilities Management Class, Patient Environment Class, Technology Class and Special Awards.
Jo Makosinski said: "Every year the awards recognise the most-impressive projects and products, as well as putting the spotlight on the people behind some of the biggest innovations in the sector.
"This year the competitions reflects changes in the health and care landscape, offering even more chances to win and ensuring that even the smallest projects are rewarded for the often-huge positive impact they have on the delivery of services and the overall patient experience.

What's new for 2019?
Categories this year reflect modern priorities, including the shift from paper to digital healthcare services, and the growing emphasis on elderly and social care.
There have been a sizeable increase in the amount of new categories for this years BBH Awards, so there is something for everyone. BBH are proud to announce that there are 14 new categories across all different sectors for this years awards.

What next?
All entries will be judged over the next coming months by our expert judges and the winners will be announced at our highly esteemed event at The Brewery in central London on 30th October 2019.
