Announcement offers NHS trusts end-to-end digital transformation services

IMS MAXIMS has successfully been listed on G-Cloud 10, making its cloud-based digital services available to NHS trusts via the latest iteration of the Government’s procurement framework.

Having been involved in the G-Cloud framework since it started in 2012, the award-winning technology provider is offering a range of professional implementation services that enable the NHS to achieve its sustainability and transformation plans.

Specifically, trusts can access the key services needed to successfully deploy an electronic patient record (EPR), including service configuration, benefits realisation, data migration, project management, software testing, and staff training.

These services form part of the company’s all-inclusive, top-tier package, which provides end-to-end support for an EPR digital transformation programme.

From preparation and planning to implementation and ongoing support, the services can be provided by the technology firm from the outset or to enhance an existing strategy.

Commenting on the good news, Leesa Ewing, commercial director at IMS MAXIMS, said: “We’re delighted to achieve accreditation for the latest iteration of this important framework.

“It complements our cloud-first approach, which offers support to NHS customers who are increasingly wanting to adopt this way of working, particularly to improve cyber security and reduce on-site storage and maintenance costs.”

The framework also offers NHS customers a more cost and time effective route to procure digital cloud services, so we encourage any trust considering such investment decisions to use G-Cloud 10.”

The company’s software is widely used in healthcare, across 180 organisations and supporting 13 million patients every day.

Two of their NHS customers, Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Wye Valley NHS Trust are involved in the Government’s global digital exemplar scheme to fast-track technology deployment across the NHS.

A similar transformation programme is underway in Blackpool NHS Teaching Hospitals, having gone live with the MAXIMS solution in December last year.

Together with IMS MAXIMS, these organisations will share best practice for digital transformation, helping other trusts meet the paperless agenda and achieve widespread adoption of technology-enabled care.

G-Cloud 10 is the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) procurement framework for cloud-based computer services, hosted via the Digital Marketplace.

The CCS works with organisations such as IMS MAXIMS to ensure that maximum value is extracted from all commercial relationships and to improve the quality of service delivery.

Each iteration of the framework gives existing suppliers the opportunity to update details about the pricing and functionality of their services, and new providers can apply to have their services added.
