Software firm Ideagen secures place on G-Cloud 7 framework
Deal allows NHS trusts to find and compare cloud-based services such as web hosting and site analytics
Ideagen have been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 7 Digital Marketplace framework.
The deal allows public sector organisations – such as the NHS – to find and compare cloud-based services, such as web hosting and site analytics. Public sector organisations can then buy services more quickly because they don’t have to run a full tender.
Since its launch in 2012, public sector organisations have invested more than £467m in cloud-based solutions in order to improve performance levels and reduce IT costs.
Ideagen’s successful placement on G-Cloud 7 marks its third term on the framework and means the company’s comprehensive portfolio of healthcare, GRC and web content management solutions are widely accessible to public sector organisations through Digital Marketplace.

Via the new Digital Marketplace, Ideagen is able to deliver its full range of healthcare solutions - dartKW, dartOCM, PatientFirst, dartPortal, dartQSCAN and dartEDM - audit management software, Pentana; quality and GRC management solutions, Q-Pulse, Gael Enlighten and Workbench; its web content management system, EasySite; and Arbutus Analyser. Ideagen also offers professional consultancy services across a range of specialisms, including Digital Mail room scanning and capture, Electronic Document Management, Business Process Management, Image Archive, and Information Governance Consultancy Services.
Earlier this year, as part of the G-Cloud 6 framework, Ideagen successfully secured a contract with Public Health England, which announced it would be using the company’s dartKW product across its eight UK research laboratories to provide secure storage and reporting for clinical information.
