Mike Sanders, Chief Executive Officer at Intouch with Health, commented: “The whole team at Intouch are thrilled to become part of the VitalHub group. This acquisition of Intouch presents huge opportunities for further expansion."
“This acquisition of Intouch by VitalHub Corporation has come at an exciting time for us. In the last three years alone, turnover at Intouch with Health has increased significantly. We have secured contracts with six new NHS Trusts, taking the total number of Trusts using our solutions to 53 representing 130 hospitals across four countries. We have also been expanding our own digital health technology portfolio. In 2019 we, ourselves, acquired Synopsis Healthcare and have enjoyed success deploying the pre-operative assessment solution as an integral part of our digital outpatient flow management software.”
In 2018, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Health commissioned Intouch and its Australian distributor, Device Technologies, to implement queue management and patient wayfinding solutions in several hospitals and community centres across its capital city of Canberra.
“Both organisations know each other from our partnership, and we look forward to building on this relationship."
Since going live with outpatient management software from Intouch, Chase Farm Hospital in London, part of the Royal Free London NHS Trust, has been confirmed as a HIMSS EMRAM Level 6 organisation; one of only three NHS hospitals currently recognised as operating at this level of digital maturity.
Sanders added: “The whole team at Intouch are thrilled to become part of the VitalHub group. This acquisition of Intouch presents huge opportunities for further expansion. We truly believe that combining our own successful digital platform with VitalHub’s existing Patient Flow platform will allow both organisations the ability to offer a combined comprehensive suite of solutions to both of our respective customer bases. Combined, both organisations have the ability to expand nicely on an international basis. Both organisations know each other from our partnership, and we look forward to building on this relationship.”
Dan Matlow, Chief Executive Officer at VitalHub Corporation, commented: “We are extremely excited to welcome the Intouch team and their solutions to our existing Patient Flow platform. With the advent of virtual healthcare visits growing within hospitals we feel Intouch’s award-winning product offering is appropriate and timely and anticipate an immediate impact on our overall business. We have partnered with Intouch already in Canada and look forward to growing this relationship as a single entity”.
