The overarching objective of the GMMTH, is to deliver enhanced Major Trauma care to Greater Manchester and improve patient outcomes. It delivers innovation throughout including the UK first direct level access Helipad, UK first RAPTOR Hybrid Operating Theatre, where interventional / diagnostic radiology, including CT, open operative techniques, and resuscitation, can be performed concurrently and has been designed to incorporate the ‘perfect’ polytrauma pathway.
