Kier Construction is poised to help clients with healthcare projects as it is a leading construction, services and property group specialising in building and civil engineering, support services, commercial property development and structured property financing and private and affordable housing.
In the below interview, Kier Construction's Cheryl Parsons talks to Building Better Healthcare about some of the main challenges that the healthcare construction sector is facing in 2023. Parsons discussed supply chain challenges and how early engagement can alleviate these, healthcare backlogs and how this impacts construction, as well as decarbonisation across the sector.
At the time of recording, the Health Sector Director and now Regional Director, Southern, also talked about the importance of helping Kier's clients deliver their clinical projects and address backlog problems despite their situations with staff shortages and lack of funding. She discussed that this can cover the refurbishment of existing buildings, new build departments, new buildings, or even whole hospitals.
