The NHS Transformation Executive Team, which replaces the NHS England Executive Group, will oversee ongoing operations and strategic priorities, starting 1 April 2025 (except for the deputy CEO role).
The team includes current NHS executives and external appointees, with all appointments pending Board approval.
Key changes include the removal of the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Delivery Officer roles, and the introduction of two co-Medical Directors, a Financial Reset Director, and a director for elective care, cancer, and diagnostics.
