BridgeHead Software explores the recent project undertaken at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust


In this customer story, BridgeHead Software explores the recent project undertaken at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust (QE Gateshead), in localising their PACS data from the Accenture Central Data Store into BridgeHead's vendor neutral archive (VNA).

Ultimately, this enables Gateshead NHS to store and protect of all their clinical and administrative data (historic and newly generated by their new Carestream PACS) for the future. By implementing innovative approaches, BridgeHead Software managed to drastically reduce Gateshead's localisation timeframe. This was the first step in their long-term strategic plan for data management throughout the hospital enterprise as they move towards an holistic Electronic Patient Record (EPR).
