Octopus Business Intelligence launched at UCLH

Business intelligence solution, Octopus, has been launched by Ascribe Consulting at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). The system includes a range of management information dashboards that allow the trust's decision-makers to analyse key trends and performance indicators from their desktops. Simon Mortimore, head of information services at UCLH, said: "Octopus is enabling this trust to draw valuable intelligence from the mass of raw data which we collect each day - around 200 feeds. We can now support the allocation of resources far more efficiently and ensure that we continue to deliver excellent patient care."
